Bowmanhunter Archery Products - Questions & Answers
1) How do I prepare the arrow shaft for wrapping?
Make sure the shaft is free from oil or any debris that may affect the arrow wrap from sticking to the shaft. It takes nothing special to
do this.
2) What types of shafts will Bowmanhunter arrow wraps adhere to?
Our wraps will stick to all shafts! Whether they are carbon, aluminum or wood.
3) What sizes are the arrow wraps available in?
Bowmanhunter Archery Products offers standard sizes 1.25” and 1”. Please measure your shaft to make sure what size your require. We
can also custom cut any size arrow wraps you may need. Please contact us for pricing.
3) Does the overlap affect the arrow flight?
If it does it is minimal! We shoot out to 40 yards testing these and have yet to see it make a difference. We have shot groups with wraps
and without and the groupings were VERY comparable.
4) How do I remove the wraps?
A hair dryer will work pretty easy. Just heat a little and peel off with your finger. Or you may use boiling water for carbon
(5-15 seconds) or acetone for aluminum. Just wipe shaft dry when done.
5) What is the weight of the arrow wraps?
Bowmanhunter solid arrow wraps and fades weigh around 10 grains. Our reflective wraps in standard size weigh 13-15 grains. All weights are
matched.
6) What glues will work for the fletchings?
We have tried them all,(I believe...) and haven’t found a product that wouldn’t work. Please remember to use glue sparingly! You’ll
find you won’t need as much glue for the fletchings to stick to the wraps instead of the bare shaft.
